Commonwealth Credit Union signs three year agreement

Commonwealth Credit Union, headquartered in Frankfort, Kentucky has signed a three year agreement with Lasertec, Inc. The credit union is a full service financial institution with over $625 million in assets, and 95,000 members.

Commonwealth first opened it's doors in 1951 with $2700.00 in assets and one volenteer. By 1976, the credit union had six employees and a membership of 6,000.

Today, Commonwealth has members from over 250 agencies in Kentucky including Boards of Education, Health Departments, City and County Government, and numerous State Government agencies.

Lasertec worked closely with Commonwealth in designing a new statement format for their members, including different designs for their youth, seniors and credit card members.

Additional Lasertec services which the credit union utilizes are, electronic statement delivery, single sign-on with their home banking vendor, and unique messaging to particular members.
